Mon Meilleur Chien à jamais

My Best Dog Ever

After losing my mother I had severe depression. I had always loved dogs and decided to adopt one for companionship. I ended up rescuing a beautiful Boxer who was scheduled to be euthanized the next morning. It seems like I saved him but the reality is he has saved my life many times over. He is my rock. Without him I could not go on. He gives me a reason to get up every day. A reason to smile every day. And a reason to be happy every day. Dogs are amazing!

I will never forget the day I went to pick him up from the shelter. When I entered, there were dogs of all ages and breeds. Since I was a novice, I decided to get an adult dog. I figured that an adult dog is already trained and wouldn't need much training. My eyes fell on Bingo, and I was in love at first sight. He started barking when he saw me as if he was welcoming me. The person in charge explained to me that he was 10 years old and that no one wanted him. I was warned that his temperament could be difficult for a novice and that I should get a dog training collar. I don't know how I did it, but we got along very well from day one. Maybe because he knows deep down that I love him very much?
